WOODBURN, OR – September 15, 2025 – Bar None Auction is excited to bring together one of the Pacific Northwest’s most extensive selections of heavy equipment, trucks, and industrial assets of the year, at its upcoming Woodburn public auction on, September, 26th. The auction will feature thousands of lots and present contractors, fleet managers, independent operators, and members of the public with an opportunity to shop a wide variety of pre-owned heavy machinery, take advantage of Oregon’s lack of sales tax AND, cash in on newly expanded year-end tax deductions.
Section 179 of the U.S. tax code, made permanent by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB) and now double the previous limit, allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment up to 2.5 million, if it was acquired and placed into service during the tax year. The purpose here is to improve cash flow, reduce the cost of capital and encourage businesses to reinvest in their operations.
